Candi Dasa East Bali Tourism Destination



Candi Dasa is beach tourism destination in Bali. Candi Dasa is located Candi Dasa Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. Around 50 minute from Denpasar and 90 minute from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Candi Dasa beach is very different with other beach in Bali because the beach is protected by concrete known as crib. But Candi Dasa has very beauty scenery where every visitor can enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Sunset in Candi Dasa is not less attractive than Kuta Beach. Sunset in Candi Dasa is more attractive because the sun will be looks rounded at goes down between hill and around Candi Dasa Sea. When the sunset had completely, still emits a reddish color in the sky. In the morning sunrise will not be seen directly in Candi Dasa because closed some hillside on eastside of Candi Dasa Area. To be able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise should be walked toward to Tanjung Iri, which is part of Candi Dasa Area is located in the east.

Candi Dasa tourism areas there are many tourist accommodation facilities which relative cheap and are located almost entirely near the beach. Candi Dasa tourism area has strategic located and close to some other tourism object such as Tirta Gangga, Taman Ujung, Tulamben, Amed, Tenganan and also can cross to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Besides having a natural scenery, Candi Dasa has some typical small land offshore which is about 200 meters from the beach. These lands are named Gili Biaha and Gili Mampang, another one is around 100 meters and shaped like a cliff to meet directly with the sea. The largest land is Gili Biaha which is around 3 acres and be suitable place for snorkeling because has beauty underwater scenery. Other view can be enjoy is Lotus Lagoon, Lotus Lagoon is an artificial lake is located in the middle of Candi Dasa area and adjacent to the beach. Lotus Lagoon covers about 50 x 50 square meters in the middle there is a small land overgrown with some ketapang and bingin (banyan) trees also 4 little statues that surround it. Another thing make Candi Dasa Area is famous to foreign countries as a place to learn yoga. There is an ashram, a place for Hindus and also open to public, which is named Candi Dasa Ashram. Bukit Jambul East Bali Tourism Destination



Bukit Jambul (Jambul Hill) is located at the border between Pesaban Village and Nongan Village who are included Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. To reach Bukit Jambul from Klungkung Regency about 25 minute and 50 minute from Denpasar. Bukit Jambul is nature tourism destination has owned by Karangasem Regency, which is located at the top of hill so the surrounding weather is cool and comfortable. Such as other natural scenery in Karangasem Regency, Bukit Jambul also has fusion of natural landscape in panorama hills, rice fields, valleys and panoramic sea views. From the height of Bukit Jambul , tourists can be watched beauty of natural scenery that is very charming and enchanting. On side the weddings and uphill road we can see patches of terraced rice (terracing) and cloves trees are growing fertile in this hill. From east side will be seen the towering hill that were in Sidemen area and at South will looked rice field and surrounding Klungkung Regency, as well as at a distance were scenes of sea of southern of Klungkung Regency.


As a tourism area, Bukit Jambul was completed with a large parking area and there is a restaurant. Bukit Jambul is also as the resting place so often visited by local and foreign tourist to be traveled to Besakih Temple or when they are return from Besakih Temple. Generally, tourist who stops here for lunch and drink also resting for relax, they are can also enjoy natural scenery of Bukit Jambul which is calm and cool atmosphere. Tourists often who stop take some picture of natural scenery of Bukit Jambul.

According to information from local people in Pesaban Village, Bukit Jambul was known since the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia, where the name was given by tourist who visits. The name is taken from towering hill was located in the south of the road between Klungkung and Besakih. At the top of hill there is a temple is called Puncak Sari Temple.  Around Puncak Sari Temple areas overgrown by big and dense trees. Under Puncak Sari Temple there are rice field from local people that are heavily forested and the hilltop looks like a crested (Jambul). So, the temple is located at the top hill is Ulun Carik Temple which guarded by local farmers. Before was named Jambul Hill, the environmental rice field to the south of the highway is called Babad Kelod. Whereas upland areas and rice field in northern highway is called Babakan Kaja. Therefore, with presence of the hill that look like crested(Jambul) and now is tourists attraction then over time the area known as  Bukit Jambul (Jambul Hills).http://www.balisurfadvisor.com/

Sibetan Agro Tourism Village


Bali is not only famous with nature, culture and tradition but Bali also famous with Argo Tourism  can be found in Sibetan Village. Sibetan Village is located Bebandam District, Karangasem Regency. Around 60 minute from Denpasar and 90 minute from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Sibetan Village was producing Salak fruit, Salak fruit produced from Sibetan Village is very famous with names Salak Bali because have own flavor and different with Salak in other areas in Indonesia. There are more or less 15 varieties.




Salak fruit has oval shape, scaly skin with brownish yellow color. Thick fruit flesh, sweet and crisp, small seeds and are usually amount 1 - 2 on each the fruit, as for the kinds of favorite Salak such as Salak Nanas and Salak Gula Pasir. When harvesting Salak on December - Februaty usually local people make Salak into refined products and making variety types such as Salak Wine, Salak Syrup, Salak Lunkhead (Dodol), Salak Chips, Salak Candied. Visitor who comes to Sibetan Village can be directly see and harvesting process of Salak and also to know how Salak was marketed.

Sibetan Agro Tourism Village has an area around 1,125,00 hectare, situated at an altitude 400 - 600 meters above the sea, with an average of temperature 20 - 30 degree Celsius. Rainfall 1,567 mm to 2,000 mm / year. Climate and weather makes Salak good for grown in this area.
